When manufacturing a log house we strictly observe the rules laied down by ILBA an international organization.
The wood which is used for the walls of a log house is subject to extremely strict selection in the woods. The strict selecting goes on when handling the wood. We only choose perfectly healthy wood with an appropriate central diameter 30-40cm.The wood with a bad cross-grain, damaged wood or poor quality wood is eliminated from the production.
The selected wood is excoriated manually so that it can retain its natural beauty and curvature. The debarked wood is given a healthy and environment friendly spray treatment to protect it from any wood-destroying agents. Only then we start to work with the logs to "bind" them to log walls. Using a special technology we cut an irregular grove into each log which precisely copys the curvature of the next log. This groove roughly cut with a diesel saw is cleaned with a chisel by a carpenter. The final tightness of corner joints and links of a log house depends on the millimeter accuracy of this operation. Only carpenter´s accuracy and consistency ensures that the log wall is firmly tied up without using a single screw, a thred rod, or a nail.
When the walls are finished the whole construction is closed with floor girders and the ceiling grid. Each log of such construction is marked with a number and then the carpenter chalks the wiring on the walls(in accordance with the computer drawing). Then the construction is disassambled and the holes for the future distribution of electricity are drilled. The numbered logs are loaded on a truck and then after drafting and issuing of accompanying documents the log house is ready for dispatch to the customer. For transportation to the customer we use a freight trailer (TIR), or in case of poor access to the building ground we reload the logs on a crosscountry van. Using a good crane and our experienced crane driver assemblying of the log house for the customers then lasts only a few days. There remain only to complete the assembly of the truss and to manufacture a log staircase and the log house skeleton is finished.
