Our customers´demands on the health of the used materials are growing. We have registered/noticed strong interest in natural insulation for a long time. This natural hemp insulation can fully replace the now commonly used mineral, basalt / so-called yellow glass / wool.
Therefore our company, as the only one dealing with the completion of log houses to the turnkey,has started using this high quality natural hemp insulation Thermo-Hemp® since 2007. In cooperation with IZOLACE KONOPÍ CZ Co. The importer of the insulation to the Czech Republic, We have prepared a comprehensive offer of insulation boards and mats for the roofs, ceilings and floors isolation for our customers.
The use of hemp insulation has proved to be a step in the right direction and so now 9 out of 10 log homes assembled by our company use the organic THERMO- HEMP® insulation.
Advantages of Thermo-Hemp®:
- It does not cause allergic reactions, it does not irritate skin or mucous membranes
- It balances the air humidity in the interior / the vegetable fiber bounds well the air humidity without any loss of its insulating function
- It is ideal for diffuse open tracks, creating a pleasant indoor climate
- - It provides perfect protection against the heat in summer and the cold in winter
- It is renewable and natural raw material
- - Hemp fibres do not contain proteins so there is no need for special treatment that protcts them against insects and moths
- It eliminates CO2 in the atmosphere (about 13 kilograms of CO2 to 1m3 of hemp)
- It is made of hemp produced in the Czech Republic
- Hemp insulation gains fireproof properties by soaking in bicarbonate
