The price of a log house always depends on the size of the building, its complexity, the number of the log connections, number of log corners and log partition walls, and the labour consumption.

There are three ways to set the price.

1. pricing based on the built-up area

This method is very approximate and to some extent rather superficial and often significantly inaccurate.The price can really vary depending on the lay out of the log house(whether it is a bungalow or a house with a residential attic.To get the price using this method you can calculate from 12.000,-CZK to 14.000,-CZK per square metre of the built-up area. Please note that this method is very approximate that is why we recommend our custommers the following way of pricing which is based on plans.

2. pricing based on the plans or the dimensional sketch

It is advisable for the customer to contact us and to send us the sketch or plan which includes at least the floor plan I.floor,and the floor plan II.floor ( if the house has two floors)and tha section with dimensioning. The more objective the plan is the better data our quantity surveyors can use for pricing. It is necessary to take into account that there is a +10-15% tolerance of the accuracy of the pricing based on plans.Nevertheless, this calculation is sufficient enough for the customer to assess the financial resources and consider options for further investment in the project. We are able to do this pricing in 10 working days after receiving our customer´s plans.The plans can be send by fax, email, mail, via the contact form, or handed to our representatives at a personal meeting.We do this pricing free of charge for our customers.Based on this pricing the investor gets a real picture of the financial demands of the construction and may decide about the next steps.(E.g. order an architectural study).

3. pricing on the basis of an architectural study

This pricing is completely accurate.Our quantity surveyors consult the design details with our architects, designers, and building surveyors.Thanks to this we are able to do the pricing with a great accuracy and the price can be used to prepare the contract for work on the delivery of a log skeleton structure.
